I found the trays to not fit well, and leak. The tray material is good for 1 attempt, more than that you and you get a blob of plastic on a stick. The first attempt resulted in a flattened out piece of plastic. The second one had impressions of my teeth but leaked and did not protect my gums. I had a set made by my Dentist for $50.00 and they work very well and are worth the expense. Another problem is the peroxide gel is very soluble, tastes bad and can't be kept in the trays for more than about 20 minutes before it is leaching into your mouth. I tried the Opalescence gel and had great results keeping it on my teeth and in the trays for more than 8 hours, it stays put and doesn't come off until you want it off. The remineralizing gel is no better than using fluoride tooth past to desensitize you teeth.
I recommend dentist made trays and buying the Opalescence gel on , It's at least 60% cheeper than buying it from a dentist. This gave excellent in 2 weeks. |

...but still a good deal. It's just that the 22 percent (highest whitening agent available) is misleading. I purchased the 12 percent at my dentist and it was about twice as strong.
On the other hand, you cannot beat the price here--even if the new version of Nite White isn't as strong as advertised and/or its older products.
Best heavy duty, short term results? I'd say Crest Whitestrips (Premium Plus). You can't even get a dab of that gel on your finger without bleaching your skin, so it's pretty obvious what it's doing to your teeth!
